Which variant to pay for
- Seedance 2.0 Mini rendered most of our released series, including High Note and Blood Sun: The Fall of Kratos. It is the default choice for volume.
- Seedance 2.0 Fast held character identity well in 16:9 in The Emperor's Pleasure Court and rendered BROODFALL. It costs more than Mini at the account prices we pay.
- Seedance 2.0 is the only one at 1080p. We used it for hero episodes, such as the first episode of The Fall of Kalak.
Is Seedance 2.0 free?
Not through the API: every second is billed. Some apps bundle Seedance into subscriptions or free trial credits, and those terms change often, so check the app's own pricing page.

Arc renders all video with Seedance 2.0, Fast and Mini and shows the credit cost before each clip, so you can draft on Mini and finish on Seedance 2.0 in the same project.
