AI storyboard from a script

Video generation is the expensive step. Arc puts a storyboard in front of it, so you approve framing, action and pacing before any clip is rendered.

Why storyboard first

A storyboard frame costs 13 credits on Seedream 5.0 Lite; a 10-second 720p clip costs 226 on Seedance 2.0 Fast and 751 on Seedance 2.0. Catching a wrong angle or a missing prop at the storyboard stage is many times cheaper than catching it in the finished clip.

From script to board

  1. Paste or upload a script, or let the agent write one from your plan.
  2. Arc breaks each scene into shots with framing, action and dialogue.
  3. Character, location, prop and product references are attached to the shots they appear in.
  4. Each shot gets a storyboard frame. Use a multi-panel grid storyboard to see a sequence at once.
  5. Edit or regenerate individual frames, preview the final prompt, then send approved shots to video.

What you control on each shot

  • Framing and camera direction, guided by the project's cinematography brief.
  • Which characters, location and props appear, drawn from shared references.
  • Action and dialogue text, editable before generation.
  • The visual style, set once per project and applied to every frame.

Storyboards work the same way for dramas and for ads. Once approved, the board feeds video generation directly, so the clip starts from the frame you signed off on. See the full workflow.
