WORKFLOW

From idea to finished film, step by step

Katechon Arc is a production studio, not a single prompt box. An AI agent connects the steps; you make the creative calls at each one.

The six stages

  1. Start with a premise, a script, a novel or a product brief. Upload source text or type the idea into the studio.
  2. Plan the episodes or the ad. The agent drafts a script plan; you review and confirm it before episode scripts are written.
  3. Build references for characters, locations, props and products, so every shot draws on the same visual foundation.
  4. Storyboard each shot and adjust framing, action and pacing before you spend credits on video.
  5. Generate video and voice shot by shot, and regenerate any individual shot that misses.
  6. Assemble the film, then download it or export a Jianying draft for further editing.

1. Start with source material

A project starts as a drama or an ad. Drama projects take a premise, a screenplay or a novel; you can upload source text for the agent to read. Ad projects take a creative brief and product assets. You set a visual style (a built-in style or your own references) and a separate cinematography brief that describes how the film is shot.

2. Plan and review the script

The agent plans episodes, then drafts a script plan for each one. The plan is a review gate: you read it, edit it, and confirm it before full episode scripts are generated. Scripts stay editable afterwards, and you can preview the final prompt for any shot before generating it.

3. Build reusable references

Characters, locations, props and products each get reference images. Every later shot that features them draws on the same references, which is how a cast stays recognizable across scenes and episodes. See keeping characters consistent.

4. Storyboard before video

Each shot gets a storyboard frame, or a multi-panel grid storyboard, that you can review and regenerate. Fixing framing here is far cheaper than fixing it after video generation. More on the script-to-storyboard workflow.

5. Video and voice

Video clips are generated per shot from the storyboard and references, 4–15 seconds each, in portrait (9:16) or landscape (16:9). Narration and voice are generated alongside. Any single shot can be regenerated without touching the rest. The models page lists the video and image models available and their credit costs.

6. Assemble and export

The film workspace assembles generated clips and audio into a cut. Download the finished film, or export a Jianying draft to keep editing in a desktop editor. CapCut compatibility has not been verified.
