Models and credit costs

Katechon Arc generates video with ByteDance Seedance 2.0 models and images with Seedream models. You choose the models in project settings.

Video models

Clips are 4–15 seconds long. Seedance 2.0 is the default and the only option at 1080p. Seedance 2.0 Fast and Seedance 2.0 Mini trade fidelity for lower cost and are useful for drafts, previews and high-volume vertical episodes.

Image models

Images are used for character, location, prop and product references and for storyboard frames. Seedream 5.0 Lite is the default. Both models support text-to-image and image-to-image, so references can be edited rather than regenerated from scratch.

How to read these numbers

  • Video cost scales linearly with clip length and steps up with resolution; audio and aspect ratio do not change it.
  • Estimates exclude optional reference-image charges. The studio shows the estimate for your exact settings before you generate.
  • Script writing, the creative assistant and voice also use credits, depending on length.
  • A plan's credits are a monthly creative budget, not a guaranteed number of videos. Compare allowances on the pricing page.

Voice and script

Voice-over and speech are synthesized with ElevenLabs. Script planning, episode scripts and the creative assistant run on large language models; their credit use depends on the length of the source text and the conversation, so they are not listed per unit here.
