The story
When a fevered boy dies in her care, the alpine village of Holzmark blames its herbwoman, Maren, and the priest casts her out before dark. A wolf pack finds her first. Their scarred matriarch pushes a rejected, dying runt into her arms; Maren names him Ash and raises him as her son. When the village comes for her a second time, the son she saved comes back for her. The story is told by Liesl, the one child who watched it all, sixty winters later.

How it was made with Katechon Arc
- Wrote a style brief and one reference sheet per character and location, so the wolf pack, Maren and Holzmark stay recognizable across 47 minutes.
- Planned eight chapters as Arc episodes. Long chapters exceeded the script planner's output limit, so their shot units were hand-authored and pushed as script plans, then reviewed and confirmed in Arc like any other plan.
- Generated every shot on Seedance 2.0 Mini at 720p from the confirmed scripts and reference sheets.
- Added narration with text-to-speech and assembled the chapters into one film with ffmpeg outside Arc, with captions as a separate subtitle track.

What we learned
- Seedance sometimes invents a voice-over on near-empty shots, such as a black frame. Replacing those clips with ambience-only takes kept the narrator the only voice.
- A long film needs narration that names who is telling the story; the frame of an older witness carried the time jumps between chapters.
