ANSWER

How do you make a video ad with AI?

Short answer

Start from a brief and real product photos, write a hook-first script of five to eight shots, lock product references so packaging stays on-model, storyboard and approve each shot, then render video and voice and cut the variants. The render is the cheap part; the hook and the variants decide results.

Step by step

  1. Brief. One product, one offer, one audience, one call to action. Write it down before any prompt.
  2. Product references. Upload clean photos of the real product from several angles; every shot that shows it attaches them.
  3. Script. A hook in the first two seconds, two or three product moments, a clear call to action. Five to eight shots for 30 seconds.
  4. Storyboard. One frame per shot. Check the product's colour, label and scale here, where a fix costs an image, not a clip.
  5. Video and voice. Render each approved shot; regenerate only the ones that miss. Add voice-over and captions for sound-off viewing.
  6. Variants. A second hook, a 15-second cut, a 9:16 and a 16:9 version, reusing the same references and frames.

Common mistakes

  • Describing the product in words only. Models reinvent packaging unless they see it.
  • Putting colour words on skin or faces. In our own work, a colour cue on a face tinted the face; keep colour on the environment.
  • Testing one ad. The hook decides most of the performance; make several.
  • Skipping captions. Many viewers watch with the sound off.

Where Katechon Arc fits

Arc's ad projects start from a brief and product photos, keep the product on-model with references, and let you storyboard the hook before spending on video, in 9:16 or 16:9.

Arc has no product-link import, no avatar library and no ad publishing or measurement; take the exported cut to your ad manager.

People also ask

Can AI make a video ad from a product photo?

Yes. Product photos become reference images that each shot uses, so the product keeps its packaging and colour while the scene around it is generated.
