What AI UGC ads are
User-generated-content (UGC) ads imitate a customer filming themselves: a person talking to a phone camera about a product. AI UGC ads generate that person, their voice and their lip sync instead of hiring a creator.

Disclosure
YouTube requires creators to disclose AI-generated or altered content that seems realistic, including content that makes a real person appear to say or do something they did not; non-realistic AI content does not need disclosure. Ad platforms and social networks each have their own rules for synthetic people in ads; read them for every platform you run on. Never generate a lookalike of a real person.
How to test whether they work for you
- Make three to five AI UGC variants that differ only in the hook.
- Run them against your current best ad with the same budget, audience and placement.
- Judge on cost per purchase or lead, not views.
- Keep what wins; retire the rest within a week.
What they cost to make
A 20-second talking clip is cheap next to media spend. In Arc, four 5-second shots on Seedance 2.0 Fast at 720p are 452 credits; on Seedance 2.0 at 1080p, 3,380. The real cost is the testing budget.

Where Katechon Arc fits
Arc can make story-led ads with recurring characters and dialogue generated in each shot, with product references for the product.
Arc has no avatar library or long talking-head model; for classic UGC presenter ads, avatar tools such as those above fit better.
People also ask
Are AI UGC ads legit?
They are a real ad format, but they must follow platform rules on synthetic people and disclosure, and must not imitate real people or fake testimonials.
