ANSWER

How do you make an AI product video from product photos?

Short answer

Use the photos as reference images, not as the first frame only: shoot the product on a plain background from three or four angles, attach those references to every shot, describe the scene and the action around the product, and check each storyboard frame before rendering video.

Prepare the photos

  • Three or four angles: front, back or label side, three-quarter, and in-hand for scale.
  • Even light, plain background, no reflections hiding the label.
  • The real colour. If the product is matte red, the photo must show matte red.

Turn them into shots

  1. Create a product reference from the photos. Edit it until the label and colour are right.
  2. Write five to eight shots: hero reveal, in use, detail close-up, social proof or benefit, call to action.
  3. Attach the product reference to every shot it appears in.
  4. Generate a storyboard frame per shot and compare it with the real product.
  5. Render video from the approved frames; regenerate only the shots where the product drifts.

Costs in Arc

References and storyboard frames are 13 credits each on Seedream 5.0 Lite; a 10-second product shot is 94 credits on Seedance 2.0 Mini at 720p, 226 on Fast and 1,689 on Seedance 2.0 at 1080p. Fixing a label on a frame is roughly 130 times cheaper than fixing it on a 1080p clip.

Where Katechon Arc fits

Arc ad projects take product photos as references so the product looks like itself in every shot, with a storyboard step before video.

Arc cannot import a product page by URL or add a presenter avatar; Topview and similar tools can.
