At 1080p, Seedance 2.5 lists at $0.742/s, the highest per-second price in our index. For comparison, Seedance 2.0 Mini, which rendered most of our series, lists at $0.121/s at 720p, so 2.5 at 1080p costs about 6 times as much per second.

## How to decide

- Upgrade for short, high-visibility work, such as a hero ad or a trailer, where a better take is worth several times the price.
- Stay on Seedance 2.0 or its cheaper tiers for long series, where the multiplier applies to hundreds of clips.
- Test with the shots that fail most for you today: long single takes, crowded frames, dialogue. If 2.5 needs fewer retakes on those, part of the premium pays for itself.
- Keep one model per series. Mixing versions mid-series changes the look.

We have no first-hand results on Seedance 2.5's lip-sync, motion or consistency, and we are not going to guess. When we produce on it, this page will say what we saw.
