# Which AI video model is best for short dramas?

**Short answer:** From our own productions, Seedance 2.0 Mini at 720p: it rendered most of the 195 episodes of our first five series at $2.26 per finished minute and held faces across 40-plus episodes. Use Seedance 2.0 Fast or the full model where Mini falls short, and test Kling 3.0 or Veo 3.1 on your own shots if you want a different look.

## What a short drama needs from a model

- The same faces in episode 40 as in episode 1, from reference images.
- Dialogue: words that are right and in the right mouth.
- A low price per second, because a series is hundreds of clips.
- Native 9:16 composition, so faces are not cropped out of a landscape frame.
